You'll forgive Taylor DeForrest if she's a little tired this Thursday.
The Apple Valley High School girls hockey junior goaltender made 112 saves... yep, 112... in the Eagles' six overtime loss to East Ridge Wednesday night.
That many saves, in 9 periods of play (nearly 122 minutes) sets a Minnesota State High School record.
"All I kept thinking was 'locked in'", said Apple Valley AD Pete Buesgens. "It was one of the most remarkable athletic performances I've ever seen."
