Where does Bjugstad fit in Florida's plans? Well, it's hard to tell considering Bjugstad will be in maroon and gold next year -- and maybe for the next three.
But since the draft is all about hope, let's play the "what if" game.

Florida's centers:
Stephen Weiss led the team in goals (28) and points (60)
Michael Frolik: 21 goals, 22 assists (10th overall pick in 2006)
Steve Reinprecht: 16 goals, 22 assists (Undrafted 10 year veteran)
Rostislav Olesz: 14 goals, 15 assists (7th overall pick in 2004)
Kamil Kreps: 5 goals, 9 assists (2nd round pick in 2003)
Shawn Matthias: 7 goals, 9 assists (2nd round pick by Detroit in 2006)
Jeff Taffe: 1 goal, 1 assist (30th overall pick in 2000; won Mr. Hockey with Hastings in 1999)
Nick Tarnasky: 1 goal, 2 assists (9th round pick by Tampa Bay in 2003)

Florida's (brief) history:
The Panthers have made the playoffs three times in their 17-year history. Their last appearance was the 1999-2000 season when they lost to New Jersey in the first round.
Their most successful season was their third in the league when they fell to Colorado in the Stanley Cup finals,
