The Eagles had a perfect
record of 24-0 last season, including a 4-0 victory over Wayzata in the
Class 2A state championship game at the Metrodome.
A letter from the NHSCA informing Scanlon of his award said in part,
“this is a tremendous honor for you, your team, and your school, and
signifies that you are one of the best of the best in the coaching
profession.”
