The Story Line
No. 1-seeded Minnetonka (28-3) could have used some energy drinks, energy bars – anything to jump-start its first-half offense. It wasn’t until the clock read 3:42 to play before the Skippers made it to double digits, but trailing Henry Sibley 30-10. Minnetonka shot just 25 percent from the field for the first half and trailed 33-20 at halftime. Henry Sibley (26-6) on the other hand shot 48 percent. The second half was nearly all Minnetonka. The Skippers jumped into the lead at 10:49 into the second half and never trailed thereafter. Minnetonka’s energy and efficiency had improved significantly. The Skippers were 18-of-27 for nearly 67 percent from the field and nearly 82 percent from the free-throw line. Senior guard Anthony Tucker led all scorers and his Minnetonka teammates with 27 points, and senior forward Tyler Schilling added 14. Warriors Peter Leslie, Maurice Henandez, and Kavon Martin scored 17, 13 and 11 points respectively.

The Quote
Minnetonka guard Anthony Tucker on what triggered the comeback: "Coach Hedstrom is a great coach. I don't mean to offend him, but that was all attitude [not game plan]. Being down that much, going through that much adversity in the first half, not giving up; that's all attitude, that's all heart."
