The Story Line
St. Paul Central knew they could do it.  They might have been the only ones.  Minneapolis South had already beat them twice this year and were on a mission themselves.  But their biggest weapon, junior Tayler Hill, was held to only 9 points as the Minutemen beat the Tigers for the second straight year in the Class 4A championship, 49-44 Saturday night at Target Center.

The Quote
Georgie Jones, St. Paul Central center discusses their destiny: "Yeah, we were down, but we were still going to win.  I had it in my mind that when we won our section championship, we were going to win [state].  It was meant for us to win again.  It was meant to be and I stuck with it and I knew we would win because that's how it was supposed to be."
