Information: I would like to nominate Amanda Schmitz for her all-around play in last week’s sub-section win over Cleveland. Amanda is a senior co-captain MH. She has been playing some great volleyball lately and has really fine tuned her game. Amanda is one of the reasons why this year’s squad is 20-3-2, one of the best seasons in school history. Amanda's stats for last week were 9/11 serving with 4 ace serves, 5 kills, 3 block kills and 10 digs.

Information: Nick is a prime example of a student/athlete. In the classroom he carries a 3.9 GPA and on the field he plays both sides of the ball. Against Winona, in the Section Quarterfinals he rushed 26 times for 211 yards and 3TD. Nick also had 10 tackles (105 for the season) and .5 a sack. He then rushed for 75 yards and 1TD against Faribault in the Section Semifinals. He is an excellent student of the game. Nick puts in many hours watching film to improve his game and as a captain for the Trojans, is a role model for many New Prague Trojans!
